German Shepherd Police Training From 7 Months?
I have a 7 Month Old German Shepherd male, and i was wondering if it was still possible to train him to attack on command, speak on command etc?
I have trained him to sit, follow, just general stuff, which hes ok at.
I know its dangerous and they can be lethal weapons, but how do i go about training him to do the following?

You DON’T train to attack command….it’s very unlikely the dog would do it anyway. One in a few hundred thousand dogs will attack ON COMMAND …unprovoked. The dog will ALWAYS know when there is a threat before you…do you want him to come to you and ask for the “command”?
Obedience and tricks are perfect timing…start now. For “PROTECTION” training, go to a trainer to have him evaluated at 12-14 months. Until that time, make sure he is COMPLETELY social…do not encourage any aggressive behavior. You CAN NOT train protection yourself. His lineage will be a good indication of whether or not he’ll be able to do the protection work.

obedience training has to be aced both on and off leash before going into protection training.

With proper and certified trainers. Try the local Schutzhund arganization.
